The project
LANDSCAPES
Hanna Miadzvedzeva joined the Foundation in May Her project “Landscapes” explores the territory and its natural spaces to convey their singularity and topography. Through the practice of ceramics, she expresses the emotions she experiences from observing natural phenomena. Her sculptures, with diverse textures and colors, both organic and abstract, evoke a state of harmonious coexistence and embody an ideal symbiotic state between humans and their environment.
Hanna Miadzvedzeva, born in 1988 in Belarus
Hanna Miadzvedzeva is a ceramic artist originally from Belarus, currently in emigration. She graduated with a bachelor’s, master’s and post-graduate degree in art ceramics at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, where she also taught at the Ceramics Department for 7 years. Since 2019 actively participates in international exhibitions, symposiums, residencies in different countries, is the prizewinner of several international awards, and a member of the International Academy of Ceramics. Artworks are in public collections in China, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Germany.
