European Heritage Days
This 39th edition of the European Heritage Days will highlight sustainable heritage, a highly topical theme in the context of climate change.
On this occasion, come and discover the architecture of the Fondation’s building, in the Bauhaus style.
Present in the Cognac landscape for almost 100 years, this 6,000 square meter tower, initially an industrial production site belonging to Maison Martell, has been rehabilitated to become a space intended for the general public. This place is also dedicated to host design professionals, whose projects are linked to the climate transition. Production workshops “les ateliers du faire”, with state-of-the-art equipment, are available to them during their residencies.
We invite you to discover these craft workshops with its material library and the imposing “Cène” by the sculptor Guillaume Bardet, then you will climb to the rooftop, 24 meters above the ground, which offers an exceptional panoramic view. Its layout was carried out with the interior design studio “Prémices And co” specializing in ecological design and the creation of the furniture was commissioned to local artisans.
